pushBUTTON

I had first heard of Korean label pushBUTTON a few years back by chance after purchasing a Dressmonster top from ASOS. I decided to do some research on the brand seeing as I admired their wearable pieces so much. Turns out Dressmonster was a sub-label of pushBUTTON and was launched by designer Seunggun Park as a more commercial and affordable label in order to target a more wider market. pushBUTTON definitely has a more high-end creative look to it and I was so glad to see that Opening Ceremony has started to stock their pieces online. You can shop the pieces at:

Print Process

The first time i got seriously interested in textiles and print was in 2003 when i had just discovered style.com and spotted Elise Crombez on the front page wearing a mixed formula of prints from Marni's Spring 2004 collection. It was instant love, from there i discovered the masters of print such as Dries van Noten and Diane von Furstenberg. Unfortunately my course in fashion design didn't cover any classes in print making but my luck came through when my good friend LTO started her course in Fashion at another institute where she learned print making. It's still self teaching right now but i hope 5 years from now all my practice will pay off! Here's what I'm working on now...
